Granting and removing access using the CIFS access command:
\nUsing the NetApp storage system console (i.e via Putty)
\nUse the cifs access command to grant or remove access to a share.
\nTo add access to a share, type:
\ncifs access <share> [-g] <user|group> <rights>
\nTo remove access to a share type:
\ncifs access -delete <share> [-g] <user|group>
\nNote:
\nRights can be UNIX-style combinations of r w x – or NT-style “No Access”, “Read”, “Change”, and “Full Control”.
